Import linked objects

Linked objects (objects that have a link defined between them) are an important part of the Ontology and fundamental for object analytics in Foundry.

Quiver’s Linked object set functionality allows you to create a new object set with all objects of a given type, linked to an existing object set in your analysis. This process is also known as a Search Around.

You can access this functionality through the Next Actions menu and selecting Objects > Linked object set, or by selecting Linked object set in the Objects dropdown in the top menu.

Once you have selected the input object set, use the dropdown in the editor panel on the right side of the screen to choose a linked object type.

Choosing a linked object type

In the example below, selecting the link between companies and stock series returns the set of 1,964 time series objects that are related to the 505 companies in the input object set. To view the returned object set, click the Table tab in the linked object set card.
