20 - Configuring your Passenger Object Type Properties

📖 Task Introduction

You've mapped your columns to properties, but OMA gives you additional formatting and metadata definition options for rendering and formatting raw values to improve readability and relevance.

🔨 Task Instructions

  1. Click the Properties menu item from the left-hand side of your application screen.
  2. Set the following configuration options for these properties (click on a property in the table to open the editor):
  • Dob (date of birth)
    • Rename dob to Date of Birth
    • Switch to the Display tab and toggle "ON" DATE AND TIME FORMATTING.
    • Select Date from the DATE AND TIME FORMATTING dropdown.
  • Flyer Status
    • Scroll-down to CONDITIONAL FORMATTING and click ➕Add rule.
    • Configure the rule so that when the value is exactly Gold (case sensitive) the format is of Blueprint color Gold 3 (you can switch to Blueprint color using the top FORMATTING dropdown).
    • Add another rule for Platinum with the color Dark Gray 5.
    • Add an extra rule for Silver with the color Gray 4.
  1. Set a few properties as Prominent.
  2. Click Save in the top right corner.
