19 - Configuring your Passenger Object Type

📖 Task Introduction

You’ve already run through the configuration process once, so the steps in this task will be relatively brief. Refer to the instructions and documentation links in the previous exercises if you need additional help.

🔨 Task Instructions

  1. Open the Ontology Management App (OMA) and click ⊕ New object type.
  2. Set the backing datasource to your passenger dataset in your Ontology Project: Flight Alerts project you created to back this object type.
  3. Set your object type Display name to [yourName] Passenger. For example, [jmeier] Passenger.
  4. Provide a description. For example,“Passenger object type for training purposes.”
  5. Choose an icon and color as desired.
  6. Choose to “Map all columns as new properties.”
  7. Select the property Last Name as Title.
  8. Select the property Passenger Id as the Primary key.
  9. Click Create.
