A data pipeline is a series of datasets and transformation logic that build as a cohesive unit according to user-defined conditions.
Most datasets have a lineage, but that lineage may not be part of a functioning pipeline.
Like a tree may be made up of one or more branch and root paths, a pipeline can be composed of one or more lineage structures and have multiple outputs.
