15 - Finalizing Your Map Setup

There are a few changes you’ll want to make to make your map more navigable for your end users.

🔨 Task Instructions

1. Return to the main map widget configuration panel by clicking the ˂ at the top left of the data layer panel you're currently in.

2. Apply the following settings, leaving the rest alone:

   • Map Theme: Dark (don’t worry if your points seem to disappear; they’ll return shortly).
   • Toggleable Layers: “On”
   • Map Viewport Configuration: Initial viewport
   • Initial Latitude: 39
   • Initial Longitude: -96
   • Initial Zoom Level: 3
