📖 Task Introduction
Over the next two exercises, you’ll create two chart-based visualizations that provide more flight alert context to the applications you build that dynamically integrate this analysis. In your first visualization, you’ll create a vertical bar chart of passengers affected by your templated flight alert object, grouped by status (e.g., gold, silver) and segmented by country of citizenship.
🔨 Task Instructions
Click the Object category button at the bottom of your Flight Alert card near the top of your analysis.
Choose Linked object set.
Select your passenger object type as the relation type in the card editor panel on the right.
Rename the new card by clicking into its default name (e.g., [jmeier] Passengers linked to [jmeier] Flight Alerts) at the top of the card editor panel and changing it to Linked Passengers.
At the bottom of your new Linked Passengers card, click the Chart category button.
Choose the Bar chart chart type in the fly-out menu to create a bar plot.
In the chart configuration, Group ByFlyer Status and, in the Series section, Segment ByCountry.
Rename the new bar plot card by clicking into its default name at the top of the card editor panel and changing it to Chart: Passenger by Status.
Feel free to make other display refinements in the Display tab (e.g., changing the categorical and value axis labels), but these are not critical to the training path here.
