📖 Task Introduction

Let’s add a card at the top of your canvas that states the name of the alert. This will be one way for you to quickly check the dashboard functionality; when you embed the dashboard in an Object View, for example, the values will change based on which flight alert you’re observing.

🔨 Task Instructions

  1. At the bottom of your Flight Alert card, click the Vizualize category button and choose Object property.

    • This opens an editor/configuration panel on the right side of the screen for the new card just added to your canvas.
  2. Click into the Property field in the editor panel and choose Alert Display Name.

  3. Click into the name of the card at the very top of the editor (your name may be slightly different depending on which starting object you selected, but it will be of the form Extreme Delays: OO5531 ORD->ATL 2018-02-06 Alert Display Name) and rename it to Alert Display Name.

  4. Your editor panel also has a Display tab for adjusting some aesthetic and naming elements of your card. Click into it and apply these settings:

    • Inline Header: “On”
    • Description Alignment: Align Center
    • Hide Description: “On”
  5. You can adjust the dimensions of your Quiver cards. Starting from the bottom right of your new card, drag the edge until you find a desired dimension (you’ll have a chance to do some final sizing at the end of the tutorial).

  6. You can also move your Quiver cards to other locations on your canvas without affecting the logical flow, this can be helpful to keep your analysis organized as it becomes more complex. Click and hold the dotted indicator at the top left corner of your card and move it to the top of your analysis.

  7. Save your analysis.
