📖 Task Introduction

Imagine you want to restrict your new Route Statistics tab to a subset of users. Maybe it contains sensitive information or passenger records. Using specific group profile settings (see recommended reading below), you can limit tab visibility.

🔨 Task Instructions

  1. Move back into edit mode from the edit history panel by clicking the Editor button in the top right of your screen.
  2. Click on the Route Statistics tab to ensure its configuration panel is open on the right (and not the Linked Objects View configuration panel).
  3. Click on the Visibility section of the tab configuration.
  4. Click on ⊕ Add a profile, recognizing that your Foundry instance may not have profiles set up for use in object views.
  5. Click into the > Advanced section below, which opens up tab visibility control based on property values or link type visibility.
  6. Click ⊕ Add a condition and choose Property value condition.
  7. Set the condition to hide the tab if the Priority is low
  8. Save and publish your view.

You’ll need to do some additional work in the Multipass application, possibly with the assistance of the project admin, to create group attributes you can use to control visibility. Read more about controlling tab access with profiles here.
