11 - Configuring Your Passenger Object Type Properties

You've mapped your columns to properties, but Ontology Manager gives you additional formatting and metadata definition options for rendering and formatting raw values to improve readability and relevance.

🔨 Task Instructions

  1. Open the Properties tab in the left sidebar, then click the Edit property mapping link near the top of this page.

  2. In the mapped object type properties pane on the right, set the following configuration options for these properties (click on a property to edit it):

    • Dob
      • In the Display tab
      • Toggle to the "ON" position the DATE AND TIME FORMATTING parameter.
      • Select Date from the dropdown.
    • Flyer Status
      • In the Display tab
      • In the CONDITIONAL FORMATTING section click ➕Add rule.
      • Configure the rule so that when the value is exactly Gold (case sensitive) the format is of Blueprint Gold 1 (you can switch from Intent to Blueprint using the top FORMATTING dropdown).
      • Add another rule for Platinum with the color Dark Gray 5.
      • Add an extra rule for Silver with the color Gray 4.
    • Number of Flights
      • In the Interaction tab
      • Scroll-down to RENDER HINTS.
      • Check the Selectable box so that the property can be illustrated as a distribution in Object Explorer.
  3. Set a few properties of your choice as Prominent in the Display tab.

  4. Click ← Back to object type in the top left corner to return to the object type Overview page.

  5. Click Save in the top right corner.

  6. Then Save to ontology.
