📖 Task Introduction

In this task, we’ll create two new linked Object Sets — Arriving Flights and Departing Flights — relating to the SFO Object we added previously. This allows you to leverage the Ontology’s defined relations between object types to build out your analysis. To learn more about linked object types, see Link types overview.

🔨 Task Instructions

  1. At the bottom of the JNU Airport Object board, select the Join category, then choose Switch to linked objects.
  2. The new Linked Object Set widget now asks for you to select a "relation type" in the configuration panel on the right. Click into that field and select [Example Data] Arriving Flight from the Select relation type dropdown to create a new object set of all flights arriving into JNU airport.
  3. Rename this new widget from [Example Data] Flights linked to [Example Data] Airports to Arriving Flights: JNU.
  4. Once again, select the Join category at the bottom of the JNUAirport Object Set widget then choose Join to linked objects.
  5. This time, choose [Example Data] Departing Flight from the Select Relation Type dropdown menu.
  6. Rename this new widget to Departing Flights: JNU.
