24 - Use your Dashboard, part 1

📖 Task Introduction

In this task, we will use our dashboard to look at flight delays from flights that originate from the three airports near New York City. We can use parameter overrides and board selections to dynamically update the dashboard. These selections are temporary and do not affect what other users see. However, this provides a unique view for our colleagues located across the United States.

🔨 Task Instructions

  1. Click on the Editing Mode button at the top of the page.
  2. Click Viewing Mode to switch to viewing.
  3. Enter LGA, EWR, and JFK in the dropdown under Route Origin, parameter and click Apply. Notice that the text has updated to reflect that LGA, EWR, and JFK are the selected Route Origin values.
  4. Finally, enter DEN in the dropdown under Route Destination parameter and click Apply. Notice that the text has updated to reflect that DEN is the selected Route Destination value.
