1 - About This Course

This tutorial covers advanced analytics using Contour. We recommend you complete the Introduction to Contour course as a prerequisite.

Learning Objectives

• Construct multi-path Contour analyses to explore different trends within datasets
• Use a variety of boards to manipulate and visualize data
• Transform datasets within Contour via joins and pivots
• Create and optimize the use of parameters within Contour and Dashboard
• Develop a shareable Dashboard that allows for further data analysis and drill down.

Foundry Skills

• Create an analysis, understand the data to be analyzed, and then filter down a large dataset to the rows/columns needed.
• Test hypotheses, develop complex expressions and glean valuable insights.
• Learn how to add parameters.
• Explore Contour Dashboard mode, which allows you to present findings from your analysis in an interactive presentation view.
