FAQ

Are geotemporal series generally available?

Geotemporal series are in the beta phase of development and may not be available on your enrollment. Functionality may change during active development.

When should I use geotemporal series instead of time series?

Geotemporal series are similar to time series, but geotemporal series require latitude and longitude coordinates alongside the timestamp and series ID. Geotemporal series are useful for viewing the movement of an entity over time, often on a map. Time series are useful for analyzing measurements over time with charts, derivations, and trend analysis. If your data does not include a geospatial component, you should use time series.
