Teams
An Apollo Team is the primary unit of organization for people who operate software using the Apollo platform. We believe that Teams are essential for the long-term stable development of software Products. The concept of an Apollo Team is fundamental to permissions, alert routing, change request approval, and many other workflows within Apollo. Teams are how people-related settings are configured in the Apollo ecosystem; a Team must be defined in order for a group of people to manage their software Environments, Products, or Release Promotion settings.
Teams in Apollo are defined by two or more groups: at the minimum there must be one admin group who has permissions to mutate Team membership, and one member group who gain all the operations granted to that Team in the future.
