Palantir Technologies Scholarship for Women & Minorities in Computer Science
Palantir Technologies Scholarship for Women & Minorities in Computer Science

Palantir Technologies is committed to advancing technology through the use of computer science, engineering and related technical disciplines. We are a software products company that builds scalable systems for data integration and advanced, interactive analysis. Palantir produces systems that are much more powerful and useful than fully automated or manual solutions and extend the interactive reach of humans to web scale data.  Founded and funded by Peter Thiel as an outgrowth of fraud-busting technology developed at PayPal, it is now used across the government and commercial sectors to tackle the largest, stickiest data problems such as food-borne illness, counter-terrorism, and cyber-security.  In-depth information about Palantir is available at http://palantir.com/learnmore

The Palantir Technologies scholarship is available for women and minorities who demonstrate outstanding abilities and achievement in their studies.  By offering this grant, we hope to assist underrepresented minorities in obtaining their technical degrees and encourage them to make a difference through innovation.  Preference will be given to those students who display interest and proficiency in the areas of human-computer symbiosis, data visualization, machine learning, large-scale data analysis, distributed systems, and user experience.
