Salesforce Applications Developer

As a Salesforce Applications Developer at Palantir, you will help build and scale the company’s rapidly expanding operations infrastructure by leveraging the Force.com development platform. In addition to being an exceptional developer, this role also requires that you have a sharp eye for identifying business process inefficiencies, and quickly architecting a solution. Your talent will be in high demand, so the ability to multi-task is essential. This is not a 9 to 5 job. You will be part of a deeply impassioned team that is singularly focused on success.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business analysts to review operational processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation
• Architect, build, test, and implement applications using the Force.com platform, along with other Java and web based applications
• Maintain and improve existing applications
• Architect and manage integrations with other operations systems such as Active Directory and Netsuite

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with Salesforce.com developer tools including: Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services, and Metadata APIs
• SQL and Java experience
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript toolkits, or web tools development is a plus
